Kira shares her family's journey with her husband Kyle's stage four pancreatic cancer diagnosis in October 2021. Despite initial misdiagnoses and a dire prognosis, Kira relentlessly advocated for advanced treatments. She raised funds to access a promising drug in order to help her husband. Kyle underwent treatment, including chemo and immunotherapy, but faced numerous challenges, including hospitalizations and blood transfusions. Kira's story highlights the importance of being a health advocate for your family and the complexities of accessing innovative cancer treatments. Kira is a devoted mom to three young children, all under the age of 7.
